INDICAtion

- in the removal of necrotic tissue and fibrinous slough;
- in the burnings treatment, ecc.

composition

- polivinilpirrolidone (PVPA) and water. 
- it contains propilenoglicol in some covergins.

Another products have in yours formularization sodium chloride, as Normigel® at 0,9%  and Hypergel®  at 20%concentration. These products do not have to be applied on the normal skin.

Hydrogel in plate is composed for water in 73%, umectante glucose (8%) and for a external polyurethane film (19%).

contraindication

- infected wounds and wounds with abundant exudate. 

ADVANTAGE

- it promotes the autolitic debridament and it doesn't damage the granulation tissue.  

disadvantage

- it dehydrates quickly and it needs secondary covering.

dressing change

- on the average at each 12 or 24 hours.
