*TOPICAL USE OF METRONIDAZOLE
Flagyl®

A topical use of the metronidazole, antiparasitic of oral administration, can eliminate the fungic aspect of vegetant cutaneous neoplasm.

It can be used dissolved in physiologic saline solution (0,9%), generally in the proportion of 2 tablets/250ml PS. The dilution in a certain way is empiric, a lot of times it is necessary "to get right" the correct concentration.  

The wound should be washed with this solution of two to three times a day, until the disappearance of the problem. 

The application of the metronidazole in ointment can hinder the retreat of the due product the anatomical characteristics of the lesion (See the photo).
