POLIHEXANIDE-BETAINA One is about antiseptic cutaneous, not cytotoxic, used in the treatment of cutaneous wounds. Composed for is polihexanida (0,1%) and betaine undecilenamidopropil (0,1%).

It presents selective fibrinolitic action. It is indicated in such a way in the complete asepsis of the skin, how much in the treatment of clean or infected wound. |
The wound bed of the clean wound can directly be washed with the polihexanida-betaina solution, or after daily laudering with physiological solution. In the exsudative wound with necrotic-fibrinous tissue formation the polihexanida-betaina solution can be applied on the wound bed absorbed in cotton gauze, remaining, on average, for 15 minutes. In little exsudative wound the antiseptic polihexanide-betaina, in the formula gel, can be applied on the wound impregnated in cotton gauze. This dressing formula gel is substituted, on average, to each 12h. |
