Before using it rehydrate the product with sterile physiological saline solution 0,9% or other isotonic solution and the graft will adquire its elasticity. Small perforations can be cut in the sheet, like as could be carried through smash-skin-graft, to allow tehe exudate to drain. The xenograft will have according to to be protected by a secondary dressing, that could daily be substituted, amount of secretion. As healing occurs, the xenograft may gradually peel and may be removed during dressing changes or, if to transform into caramel-colored gel, which can be rinsed away with gentle irrigation. |
