Physiopathology Healing - Factors that interference

FACTORS THAT INTERFERE
IN THE CICATRIZATION

LOCAL FACTORS

They are those tied the wound:
- dimension and depth of the lesion,
- degree of contamination,
- presence of secretions, hematoma and strange body,
- necrosis tecidual
- local infection.

SISTEMIC FACTORS

They are tied up to the patient:

- Age group, because the advanced age decreases the inflammatory answer.

- State Nutricional: the deficiency nutricional interferes in all the healing phases.
The hipoproteinemy decreases the answer immunologic, the synthesis of collagen and the fagocytic function.

- Chronic diseases: illnesses sistemic metabolic interference in the healing process.

- Therapy Associated: that interfere directly in the healing process.
- anti-inflammatory
- antibiotics
- esteroides
- agents chemiotherapeutics.

INADEQUATE TOPICAL TREATMENT

Tensoactivy Soaps: it can have cytolic action affecting the membrane permeability.

Antiseptic Solutions: it also has cytolic action. As larger concentration of the larger product will be the cytotoxicity affecting the healing process. This solution in contact with exudate and blood of the wound has its committed action.
