FACTITIOUS DERMATOLOGICAL WOUND

*These lesions are provoked propositalmente and denominated factitious dermatite.

In these cases the psychological accompaniment is fundamental.

Patients that make use of these "exist hurt" as middle of communication and social interaction.

The cutaneous lesions can present secondary complications, as local infection.

In the topical treatment of these lesions it can be used several products, like as: silver
sulfadiazine with cerio nitrate, enzymatic ointment (collagenase, fibrolynosin), hydrocoloid, hydrogel, linoleic acid, ricinoleic acid, bioperoxoil, Aloe vera, elicine, papain, albumin, non adherent gauzes, calcium and sodium alginate etc.
The change period will depend on the chosen product.
